Salvation Army in St Joseph Opened Their New Playground Area Wednesday

(ST JOSEPH, MO) – The Salvation Army in St Joseph opened their new playground area Wednesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The Playground is called “Hope Corner” and is located at the Booth Center on Sixth Street.

The Booth Center provides shelter to those in need 24-hours a day, and the addition of the playground is forward progress on the Salvation Army’s mission to bring together families and the surrounding neighborhoods.

Hope Corner is open for all to use, and former social services director for the Salvation Army Allison Lippard is hopeful this will become a place people in the community like to gather at.

If you would like information on both the Booth Center and Hope Corner, just head to the Salvation Army’s website.
