Shooting at Chiefs Super Bowl Parade in Kansas City Kills One, Injures at least 22 People

It was a day that started out with an air of celebration but ended in tragedy as the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Victory parade was cut short by gunshots – with one person dead and at least 22 others injured.

During a news conference, Kansas City Police Chief Stacy Graves said three suspects have been arrested.

Leandre Allen, who was at the scene, provided details to KMBC-TV of what happened…

The gunshot victims were taken to three different area hospitals.

Children’s Mercy is treating 11 children at the hospital, nine of which are victims of the shooting.

The victims ages range between 6 and 15 years old.

Three people are detained and under investigation.
