Smithville Woman Injured in School Bus Crash Thursday

A Smithville woman suffered injuries in a Clay County crash Thursday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 11:00 Thursday morning on Highway 92, west of Hornbeck Road, as 52-year-old Marie E. Lucito drove eastbound.
Troopers say Lucito slowed to make a turn for mail delivery and was struck from behind by an eastbound school bus.
Lucito suffered minor injuries.
Authorities say everyone involved wore seat belts at the time of the crash.
