A St. Joseph man was arrested over the weekend for possession of “magic mushrooms” and various driving charges.
Troop A of the Highway Patrol reports the arrest of 24-year-old St. Joseph resident Michael W. Chipps at 2:17 A.M. Saturday in Platte County on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance – psilocybin mushrooms, failing to maintain a single lane, operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, and displaying the license plates of another.
Chipps was booked into the Platte County Jail before being released from custody.
