St. Joseph Man Injured in Buchanan County Motorcycle Crash Wednesday Night

A Saint Joseph man suffered injuries in a Buchanan County motorcycle crash Wednesday evening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 6:50 Wednesday night on U.S. 59, within the city of Winthrop, as 53-year-old Jeremy R. Thompson drove a Harley Davidson eastbound.
Troopers say Thompson crossed the center line, began to skid, and traveled into the path of a westbound Ford F350.
Authorities say Thompson was ejected from his bike, suffered serious injuries, and sought treatment at Mosaic Life Care.
Troopers say Thompson did wear proper safety gear at the time of the crash.
