St. Joseph Man Pleads Guilty to Second-Degree Murder Thursday

A Saint Joseph man entered a guilty plea Thursday on a murder charge.

Court documents say 33-year-old Nicholas Piper pleaded guilty Thursday to second-degree murder.

That charge comes after the April 2020 stabbing death of a 45-year-old man on South 14th Street in Saint Joseph.

Piper reportedly faces a possible sentence of 10 to 30 years.

He will appear for sentencing on October 14.
