St Joseph Police Investigating Wednesday Morning Shooting

(ST JOSEPH, MO) – A shooting that took place Wednesday on the South side of St Joseph is being investigated by the city’s police department.
Shortly after 3 A.M. St Joseph Police responded to a location nearly a block away from the St Joseph School Districts Early Learning Center on Pine Street.
They received a call stating that four to five juveniles were on the caller’s property.
When the caller tried to confront them, they all ran away, while one allegedly turned and shot the caller.
A bullet grazed the property owner’s leg, and the police stated that the victim has minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
