St. Joseph Woman Injured in Holt County Crash Wednesday

A Saint Joseph woman suffered injuries in a Holt County crash Wednesday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 12:17 Wednesday afternoon on Maywood Road, nearly two miles north of Forest City, as 29-year-old Saint Joseph resident Luz M. Silva drove northbound.

Troopers say Silva crossed the center line and traveled into the path of a southbound vehicle driven by 33-year-old Forest City resident Ethan W. Woolsey.

Silva suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at Mosaic in Saint Joseph.

Authorities say everyone involved wore seat belts at the time of the crash.
