Stanberry School Board Approves Winter Activities Plan

Stanberry School Board members approved the school’s Winter Activities Plan that specifies the procedures and protocols that the school will take for indoor activities for the year. The action was part of a meeting held on Monday night.

Stanberry school seating will be limited to 150 tickets for home fans and the visiting schools. The tickets will be given to the athletes who can give those tickets to whoever they want. No one will be allowed into the events without the tickets. Faculty and game workers will not need a ticket to attend the events. Masks will be required until you are seated and anytime that a person moves in the building. Stanberry’s school is planning to install a Pixellot Video System that is being provided free to the school through an agreement with the National Federation of High Schools. The system will allow the school to live stream events for patrons. Patrons will need to purchase a subscription to access the programming. The school plans to have the system installed by early December. Until the Pixellot System is installed, the Stanberry school plans to live stream across the school’s Facebook account.

Stanberry’s board also received information regarding a Band Sponsorship Program. The program is intended to allow the school to acquire the necessary instruments to give all 5th graders a chance to try out band without a large financial investment.
