State Lawmaker Looking to Run for Missouri Secretary Of State

(MISSOURINET) – A state lawmaker, possibly most known for his efforts to block sports betting bills this year, is running for Missouri Secretary of State. Senator Denny Hoskins, a Republican from Warrensburg, explains why he wants to be the state’s top election officer.

Other names possibly floating a run for the office are Senate President Pro Tem Caleb Rowden, a Republican from Columbia and Representative Peter Merideth, a Democrat from St. Louis.
