Stewartsville Man Hurt In Blown Tire Accident

A Stewartsville man was left with minor injuries after a one-vehicle accident following a blown tire.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 63-year-old Michael D. Jacobs was driving a 2014 Peterbilt semi tractor southbound on Interstate 29 about 15 miles north of St. Joseph Wednesday evening at 6:20 P.M., when a tire on his tractor blew and the truck traveled off the east side of the highway and into a median.
Jacobs suffered minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Urgent Care in St. Joseph for treatment.
