Teen Driver Safety Program Scheduled in Mercer County

PRINCETON, MO – A program to increase awareness of teen driving risks is being hosted by the Mercer County Health Department next week.

In addition to increasing teen driving risks among younger teenage drivers and parents, the program will help participants understand Missouri’s graduated driving license law, monitoring and enforcement and the importance of being a positive role model.

First Impact is offered by ThinkFirst Missouri and funded by the Missouri Department of Transportation and is available for parents and newly-licensed drivers, or those who will be getting their permit soon.

The Princeton program will take place on Tuesday, March 7 from 6 to 7:30 pm at the Smithfield Education Center.  Online registration is available HERE or by calling 573-884-3643.
