A teen has been identified as the one who made a threat to Cameron High School.

Cameron police arrested 17-year-old Dayten Vernon Peck after a possible threat was made toward Cameron High School on Tuesday. The school district contacted police after receiving the threat, to which police quickly responded.

Peck admitted to saying he might bring a gun to school after being picked on by other students. He told police he did not own a gun but had a relative that did.

He is facing felony charges of making a second-degree terrorist threat.
