Three Area Residents Injured in Harrison County Crash Monday Afternoon
Three area residents suffered injuries in a Harrison County crash Monday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 4:26 Monday afternoon on U.S. 69, about six miles southwest of Bethany, as 26-year-old Bethany resident Johnathan M. Kelley drove a Ford F-150 northbound.
Troopers say Kelley went off the east side of the road, began to skid, overcorrected, returned to the road, went off the west side of U.S. 69, overturned, struck a tree, and came to a rest.
Kelley and two passengers, 22-year-old Pattonsburg resident Jillian K. Kelley and a three-year-old Bethany boy, all suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at Harrison County Community Hospital.
Authorities say all involved wore seat belts at the time of the crash.
