Trenton Driver Injured In Grundy County Accident

A Trenton resident was injured following an accident Friday afternoon in Grundy County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 20 year old Sidney Lynch was driving northbound on Route E, 3 and 1/2 miles northeast of Laredo, and failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle went off the roadway initially, returned to the roadway, and then skidded out of control. The vehicle eventually struck an embankment and stopped on its wheels.
The driver received moderate injuries from the accident and was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital. Her vehicle was totaled.
The Grundy County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Highway Patrol. The accident took place at 1:15pm Friday afternoon.
