Trenton Driver Killed in Accident South of Winston

A Trenton resident was killed in an accident in Daviess County Tuesday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the crash occurred as 26-year old Cameron resident Briaunna Goodwin was northbound on US 69, 5 miles south of Winston around 7:30 in the morning Goodwin lost control on the ice covered roadway and travelled into the southbound lane where she struck a vehicle operated by 63-year old Linda Wilcox of Trenton. Both vehicles travelled off the west side of the roadway. Wilcox was pronounced dead at the scene.
Goodwin was taken to Liberty Hospital with moderate injuries.
