Trenton Man Pleads Not Guilty to Five Charges From Monday

A Trenton man faces five charges, including two felonies, in Grundy County Court.

Court documents say Hugo Moralez-Cruz faces charges of felony second-degree assault involving a special victim, felony second-degree assault, disturbing the peace, resisting or interfering with an arrest, and being a minor visibly intoxicated.

Records list the charges from Monday.

The court set Moralez-Cruz’s bond at 50 thousand dollars cash only.

Moralez-Cruz entered a not-guilty plea on Tuesday and will next appear in court on April 9 at 9:00 a.m.
