Trenton Woman Charged With Felony Pair in Alleged Friday Incident

A Trenton woman faces two felony charges in Grundy County Court.

Court documents say Naomi Esther Roy faces felony charges of abuse or neglect of a child and resisting or interfering with an arrest for a felony.

Records list both charges from last Friday.

A probable cause statement accuses Roy of grabbing the victim by the face, shaking the victim, and leaving a bruise on the victim’s cheek.

The court set Roy’s bond at 100 thousand dollars cash only.

Roy will appear in court on May 14 at 9:00 a.m. for a bond appearance hearing.
