Two Accidents in Dekalb County Over Weekend Leaves Four Seriously Injured

An accident Saturday in Dekalb County left a Stewartsville man seriously injured.

At 12:20 P.M. the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to an accident involving 54-year-old Clifford A Stone who was heading northbound on private party on a Kawasaki Motor Bike when he travelled up a small hill and left the roadway, the vehicle overturned and ejected the driver. The vehicle came to rest on left side facing North.

Stone was transported to Mosaic Life Care in St Joseph.

Another accident took place Sunday just after 12 P.M. in Dekalb County that left three seriously injured.

Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to an accident that occurred when 77-year-old Cowgill resident Garrison L. Pollard was northbound on Ensign Trace and 57-year-old Tarkio resident James L. Navin was eastbound on US36.

Pollard’s vehicle failed to yield causing Navin’s vehicle to strike the driver side of pollards vehicle.

Both vehicles came to rest on their wheels.

Both drivers and 54-year-old Michelle D. Navin also of Tarkio were treated for serious injuries at Mosaic Life Care in St Joseph.
