Two Barnard Residents Injured in Saturday Crash

Two Barnard residents suffered injuries in a Nodaway County crash Saturday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 12:08 Saturday afternoon on Route N, about 10 miles southeast of Maryville, as a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Becky M. Swinford drove northbound.

Troopers say Swinford’s vehicle crossed the center line and struck an oncoming southbound vehicle.

Swinford and a passenger, a 14-year-old female, both suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at Mosaic in Maryville.

Authorities say all involved wore seat belts at the time of the crash.
