Two Cameron residents suffered injuries in a Daviess County crash Sunday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 10:08 Sunday morning near U.S. 69, four miles west of Altamont, as 37-year-old Melissa I. Lee drove northbound.
Troopers say a southbound vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and attempted to cross U.S. 69, striking Lee’s vehicle in the process.
Lee’s Ford F-150 went off the road, struck a guardrail, and came to a rest.
Lee and a passenger, a 13-year-old male, suffered serious and minor injuries, respectively.
Both sought treatment at Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Authorities say all involved wore seat belts at the time of the crash.
