Two Excelsior Springs Residents Arrested with Meth in Ray County

Two residents of Excelsior Springs were arrested in Ray County in possession of methamphetamines.

At around a quarter until midnight Thursday night, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported the two arrests.

The first arrest was of 35-year-old Amanda D. Boone with charges of possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, no seat belt, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

The second arrest was of 36-year-old Justin W. Leardi with charges of felony resisting arrest, felony possession of controlled substance – methamphetamine, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, no seat belt, careless and imprudent driving, no insurance, failure to signal, failure to obey traffic control device, failure to have two lighted headlamps, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were taken to the Ray County Jail for a 24-hour hold.
