University of Missouri is Prepping For Future Meat Laboratory

Missouri’s current state budget year includes 25-million dollars to build a new meat laboratory.

Ag director Chris Chinn talks about the one-time funding being used for the planning, construction, and design of a lab at the University of Missouri’s Columbia campus.

The laboratory will be used for the training and research for the food science and animal science programs.

The project is expected to break ground soon.
