Big Defensive Effort In Second Half Puts Benton Girls In Class 4 Championship Game
Benton’s girls rallied from a 15 point 3rd quarter deficit and forced overtime, and then dominated the overtime in the first Class 4 semi final game of Show Me Showdown II on Thursday. Benton defeated Central (Park Hills) 55-48. Head Coach Chris Michaels credited Benton’s ability to shore up a rebounding deficit.
He also credited Benton’s second half defense.
Benton will face the Vashon girls in the Class 4 Championship game at 4pm.
