After trading runs in the 1st inning, Clarinda took control with a three run 2nd. They added two more in the 4th. Down 7-1 St. Joe put up a two run 7th but would get no closer.

Chillicothe Mudcats 9 Des Moines Peak Prospects 3
Des Monies struck first with a run in the 2nd inning, but Chillicothe immediately answered with a two run 3rd and never looked back. The Mudcats added single runs in the 5th and 6th innings before blowing the game open with a four run 7th.

Nevada Griffons 9 Sedalia Bombers 8
Sedalia jumped out to a five run lead in the top of the 1st inning. The Bombers built an 8-3 lead before a six run 7th inning by Nevada gave them the final advantage.
