He leaves behind his beloved mother, Betty Aeschliman (Kenny); wife, Lillia Theresa; children, Peter (Sheila) and Jared White (Shana Kelly); grandchildren, Holly Cheatum (Billy), Eric Wingo (Kailey), Ian White, Peter Alexander White, Jacob White; and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings, Paul (Lori), Mike (Tammy), and Tim White (Jennifer); sister, Gail Woodward (Stan); stepsister, Julie Bradley Newberry; stepmother, Shirley White; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his father, Merlin White; brother, Peter White; and his grandparents.

David was an alumnus of Central High school, class of 1970 and later graduated from Missouri Western State College. He was a proud serviceman in the United States Army. He tied the knot with his wife, Lillia, on May 27, 1977. Their bond of love and understanding remained strong and inspiring throughout their life together.

David was an active member of the St. Francis Parish where he also lent his voice as a bass singer in the choir. He also enjoyed spending time playing the guitar.

Farewell Service and Public Livestream 1 p.m. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Rosary 11 a.m. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service.
