Doug McCrea

Doug McCrea, 58, King City, MO passed away Friday, April 7, 2023, at his home in King City, MO.

He was born on April 10, 1964, in King City, Missouri the son of William Dean and Virginia (Jones) McCrea.

Doug served on the King City R-1 School Board and was a member of the King City Presbyterian Church. He received his FFA State Degree, enjoyed antique western memorabilia, hunting, and collecting guns. He loved the water especially boating and fishing. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, especially Travis Kelce.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William B. and Cleone McCrea and Bill and Goldie Jones.

Doug is survived by children, Dylan McCrea, King City, MO, Madison McCrea and Cash McCrea both of St. Joseph, MO; his parents, Dean and Virginia McCrea, King City, MO; granddaughter, RaeLynn Dean McCrea; sister, DeeAnn McCrea, Columbia, MO; niece, Megan McCrea, Columbia, MO and aunts, Gloria Carlson and Ellen Wyatt.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 15 at Roberson Funeral Home, King City, MO. Inurnment will follow in King City Cemetery, King City, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the King City R-1 FFA Chapter in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O.
