Kidder, Missouri – Linda Kay Galloway, 69 passed away March 16, 2024. She was born September 24,
1954 in Cameron, Missouri to Richard and Ada Lee (Arnold) Callaway.
Linda graduated from Cameron High School in 1973. She was raised in the Garden Prairie community
and church and served as a girl scout as a young girl. For over 45 years, she proudly helped arrange and
organize high school class reunion events. She worked for American Family – Karen Chaney Agency for
35 years. She retired in 2020 after being diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer that she battled for the next four
years. She was comforted during her treatment by Stella – her grandpuppy.
Linda enjoyed going to her grandkids school and athletic events with her husband Bill, who has been
together almost 50 years and married 48 years, 10 months. She was an avid Royals, Chiefs, and Mizzou
fan as well.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents Rich and Ada Lee and her brother Jim.
Survivors: husband William (Bill) Galloway; Amy (Terry) Montgomery, Rolla, MO; Stephanie (Scott)
Galas, Olathe, KS; 5 grandchildren, Maycie, Brett and Addison Montgomery and Gavin and Will Galas. In-
laws Susie Moore, Janice Clark, Dan (Kelly) Galloway, Michele (Troy) Kessner. Nieces and nephews
Elizabeth (Danny) O’Farrell, Whitney (Brad) Edwards, Michael (Rebecca) Moore, Megan (Zach) Ferrell,
Joe (Shalamar) Clark, Jessica Clark, Zack Galloway, Gabi (Noah) Galloway-Towe, Danie (Nick) Collard and
Ty (Breanna) Kessner.
A casual gathering to celebrate Linda’s life will be held at 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 30th,
2024 at the Cameron Community Center, food provided.
Linda requested in lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Jude’s, Children’s Mercy, or
Wounded Warriors.
