Monique Aborn
Monique R. Aborn, 62, King City, MO passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at a St. Joseph, MO hospital.
She was born on March 10, 1961, in St. Joseph, Missouri the daughter of Larry Dean and Marilyn Sue (Schottel) Aborn.
Monique was a member of the King City Baptist Church and attended the First Christian Church of King City. She loved to swim, dance, listen to music, Betty Boop and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Kevin Aborn; paternal grandparents, Virgil and Eva Mae Aborn; maternal grandfather, Kendall Schottel and maternal grandmother, Bernice Schottel.
Monique is survived by her parents; Larry Dean and Marilyn Sue Aborn, King City, MO; sister, Kelsi (David) Steele, King City, MO; brother, Wes (Angie) Aborn, King City, MO; nieces and nephews, Melody, Kyrstian, Kymberlynn, Joseph, Kystin, Kavien, Kenstin, Kenzer, Jason, and Deven; great niece, Kylie Peak and great Nephew, Weslynn Taylor.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 2 at Roberson Funeral Home, King City, MO. Burial will follow in King City Cemetery, King City, MO; The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
