Roger C. Sweiger

Roger C. Sweiger, age 76, Weatherby, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022. He was born October 15, 1945, at Weatherby, Missouri, to Frank N. Sweiger and Wilma Ruth (Rogers) Sweiger married Nancy (Lund) Sweiger on May 26, 1968 (Passed 1976) and Karyn Sweiger on January 21, 1977 (Passed 2009). Roger worked for MODot for 38 years before retiring in 2008.

Roger was an avid golfer, skilled poker and pitch player, and expert hunter and fisherman. He was far from a homebody. He was a socialite always sharing his jokes and stories. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Alta Kelba and Caroline Thompson; wife Nancy (Lund) Sweiger and Karyn Sweiger. He is survived by his sons, Rodney C. Sweiger, and Travis S. (Kristy) Sweiger; daughter, Monica B. (Gregory) Boucher; grandchildren, Danielle (Slade) Taylor, Rachel (Austin) Winter, Austin Sweiger, Frank Sweiger, Kolby Sweiger, Savannah Sweiger, Aurora Sweiger; great- grandsons, Maverick Taylor and Stetson Taylor.

Graveside Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at St. Joseph Memorial Park Cemetery.
