Roxanna U. Phillips

On Jan. 26, 2024, Roxanna U. Phillips, passed away peacefully at the age of 88 after a brief illness.
After she and her husband retired to St. Joseph (Avenue City) in 1997, she became very involved with the community and church. This included Welcome Wagon, water aerobics, quilting, stitch ‘n chat, and cards. She enjoyed going to the symphony and musicals with her husband, quilting trips with her daughter, and attending her grandson’s sporting events.
Roxanna is survived by her husband of 65 years, Richard; daughter, Roberta Lawson; son, Russell (Janelle); and grandson, Ethan.
Farewell Services 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, Savannah, Missouri, United Methodist Church.
