Pet Of The Week – Buddy
We’d like to introduce you to Buddy! Buddy is a 4-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier whose endearing personality is just as appealing as his gorgeous chestnut and white fur.
Buddy was brought into Green Hills Animal Shelter after being attacked by another dog. He arrived at the shelter hungry and exhausted, but that didn’t stop his charming personality from shining through. From the moment he entered the shelter, he was sweet and kind, and clearly thankful to be safe, warm, and fed.
Buddy, a big boy, is just as sweet as he can be and loves everyone he meets. He is friendly, affectionate, and loyal … everything we love about our canine companions! He is quite playful and loves to play fetch with a ball, and he is also a cuddle bug who loves snuggle time with his people. His loving personality would make him a great companion for a family with older children.
If Buddy could describe his perfect Forever Home he would ask for an indoor home (this smart boy is already potty-trained!) with a family who would provide equal parts of play and snuggle time. He would very much enjoy having a securely fenced yard for potty breaks and where he could play a good game of fetch-the-ball, and we suspect that this boy who is big on the outside, but soft and squishy on the inside would love to have his own fluffy bed to snuggle in and lots of toys of his own. Because of his past experience, Buddy would do best in a home with no other pets, and we do recommend that any children in the house be older so that he doesn’t accidentally bowl them over with his extra-large-lap-dog snuggles.
Buddy will go to his Forever Home neutered, dewormed, heartworm tested, and up to date on all vaccinations including rabies. He is a fantastic boy who is certain to fill his family’s life with unconditional love; could that family be yours?
