Meet Red! Our Pet of the Week!

Please meet Red! Red is a 7 month old Lab/Hound mix who is one of the happiest pups you could ever hope to meet, and who can’t wait to share his heart full of puppy love with a family all his own.
Red, along with his siblings Cooper and Tyler, found their way to Green Hills Animal Shelter after being abandoned as young pups, and they have been spreading smiles and stealing hearts since the moment they walked through the shelter door. Red is a sweet boy who loves everyone he meets. Like most puppies, he is very playful and always enjoys a good play session, and, like most Labs, Red is full of affection and anxious to please.
In addition to being affectionate, curious, playful and funny, Red is also very smart and is currently enrolled in the Puppies For Parole program where he is mastering basic obedience and house training. And, with his quick intelligence and endearing personality, we are sure he is stealing the hearts of everyone he meets at Puppies for Parole, just as he has stolen the hearts of all of us at the shelter!
If Red could describe his perfect Forever Home he would ask for an active home where he would receive lots of attention and be the center of his family’s universe. He would love to go on long leashed walks where, with his mix of Lab and Hound genes, he promises to delight his family by showing them all the wonders of the outdoor world that we humans so often miss. Red would very much enjoy being a part of a home with children, and he would also enjoy a home with other canines … perhaps even with his brother Tyler, who is also waiting for his home at the shelter.
Red will go to his Forever Home neutered, de-wormed, heartworm tested, and up to date on all vaccinations including rabies. This sweet boy is absolutely overflowing with love and happiness to share; could he share it with you?
