Pet Of The Week – Cash
What do you get when you combine the affectionate, loyal, and dignified traits of the Alaskan Malamute with the intelligent, playful, and friendly personality of the Husky? You get an absolutely stunning dog named Cash! Cash is a gorgeous Malamute/Husky mix whose beautiful blue eyes, gorgeous markings, and amazing personality would make him a strong contender for the cover of Doggy GQ!
Cash, who is 5 years old and weighs about 66 pounds, had a loving home before coming to Green Hills Animal Shelter, and that love is definitely reflected in his sweet, affectionate personality. Cash is a huge cuddle bug who loves to be with people! He is friendly, loyal, and funny, and Cash gets along with everyone he meets. Like his breeds would suggest, Cash is knowledgeable, and this smart boy is already potty trained, crate trained, and knows commands and tricks such as “sit”, “shake”, “high-five!” and “hop”. Cash gets along well with other dogs and, although he hasn’t been around cats, his calm personality suggests that he would likely do well with them also.
If Cash could describe his perfect home, he would tell us that he wants to remain an indoor dog as he was in his previous home, with a family who will give him lots of attention and love. He would request a securely fenced yard to run and play (remember, the “H” in Husky often stands for “Houdini”), and Cash would also tell us that because he is a double-coated dog and his beautiful, thick fur tends to shed quite a bit, he would like a family who will commit to brushing him a couple of times a week and having him groomed regularly. Cash would be very happy to share his home with another dog, and he would also be a great addition to a family with children.
Cash will go to his Forever Home neutered, dewormed, heartworm tested, and up to date on all vaccinations including rabies. He truly is a dog that is filled with love to share; wouldn’t you love to make him part of your family?
