Pet Of The Week – Jessie
Are you looking for a puppy who is just waiting to steal your heart and be your very best friend for life? If so, then you need to meet Jessie! Jessie is a 3 to 4-month-old Lab mix who is going to make the most amazing best buddy!
Jessie and her 5 siblings were found after being abandoned along a rural road. Fortunately, the kind person who spotted them took the time to gather them all up (we hear they were all very wiggly and happy to be rescued!) and take them to Green Hills Animal Shelter where they would be safe and cared for while they look for Forever Families of their very own.
Jessie is a sweet girl who loves attention. She is playful and happy and loves zooming around in her kennel. Jessie can be a little shy when she first meets you (remember she is still a baby and new to the shelter), but once you get her on your lap this darling girl is all about pets, belly rubs, and lots of puppy kisses! Jessie loves treats, and if you want to win her heart in an instant just offer her a cheese cube – she LOVES them! Jessie’s smart and gentle personality would make her a great fit in a home with children and she would be a wonderful dog to grow up with a child and be their very best, loyal friend.
If Jessie could describe her perfect Forever Home, she would undoubtedly ask to be adopted by a family who would spend lots of time with her and include her in all their activities. She would love to be an indoor dog and also to have access to a securely fenced yard where she can run and play. Jessie loves other dogs and would be very happy to have a canine companion in her Forever Home, and of course, she would love a family who would indulge her love of cheese cubes.
Jessie will go to her Forever Home dewormed and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations. Depending on her adoption date, she will either be spayed before adoption or her new family will be provided with a spay voucher for her surgery.
