Pet Of The Week – Skeeter
We’d like to introduce you to Skeeter! Skeeter is a beautiful Border Collie – Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix who we believe to be 2 to 3 years old. Before coming to Green Hills Animal Shelter Skeeter had a home of her own and a family who loved her. Sadly for Skeeter, she just couldn’t resist chasing her humans’ cows, and so they brought her to the shelter in hopes that she could find her perfect home where she would be loved and cherished and safe from temptations.
Skeeter is a sweet pup who is friendly and affectionate and regards everyone as a friend. She is very gentle, and her loving personality would make her a good fit in a home with children. Skeeter loves to run and play, and her happiness and love for life are sure to make you smile! True to her genetics, Skeeter is very smart and would no doubt catch on to training and learn tricks very quickly. She also gets along well with other dogs and is overall a pretty laid-back girl who just needs a family to love.
If Skeeter could describe her perfect Forever Home, she would ask for a home where she would have lots of room to run and play. She would very much enjoy being part of an active, fun family who would spend lots of time playing and interacting with her. Skeeter would be very happy in a home with children, and she would also enjoy sharing her home with another dog who would enjoy playing with her. She does, however, respectfully request a home that is not in close proximity to any large livestock.
Skeeter will go to her Forever Home spayed, dewormed, heartworm tested, and up to date on all vaccinations including rabies. She has so much love to share; could she share that love with you?
