Pet Of The Week – Sweet Pea

Please meet Sweet Pea! Sweet Pea is a gorgeous Tortie who has been at Green Hills Animal Shelter since last November, and who would love nothing more than to find a Forever Home of her own!

Torties are known for their unique personalities, which are usually a cross between independent and fiercely attached to their humans at the same time. Their personalities are usually referred to as “Tortitude”, and even though Sweet Pea is 12 years old, she is just as full of love and Tortitude as any kitty you could ever hope to meet!

Sweet Pea is a very friendly kitty who loves to be petted.  She, like most Torties, is quite vocal, and will happily express her kitty opinions. She does well with other cats and is happy to play in Meow Meadows with the other shelter kitties.

If Sweet Pea could have one wish granted, we have no doubt that it would be to find a home to spend her senior years lolling in sunbeams and watching the birdies.  She would prefer an indoor home where she would receive plenty of love and attention, but still be able to be independent at the same time.  Torties are known for being fiercely loyal to their humans, and she would love a special person of her own.

Sweet Pea has been spayed, de-wormed, FIV/FeLV tested, and is up to date on all her vaccinations, including rabies.  The only thing Sweet Pea is missing is that very special home of her own.  Could that home be yours?
