Missouri Department of Agriculture Director Chris Chinn announced CARES Act funding will be part of a Missouri Meat and Poultry Processing Grant program intended to stabilize the food supply chain in the state.

Chinn lists some of the potential examples for the grant funding.

 

The grant is a reimbursement grant for expenses incurred between March 15th and November 15th of this year. Applications must be submitted by August 31st. The expenditure and reimbursement documentation must be reported by November 30th.
